A downloadable mod

These mini-mods add something new to the game, either adding something completely novel or spreading an isolated feature across the entire game world.

These are arranged Base Game first, then Expansions, then Game Packs in release date order.

Check Neighborhood Updates

This a simple script mod that adds the new "Check Recent Neighborhood Stories" notifications to the "Check Social Media Timeline" interaction. This works on the phone, computer, and even the smart glasses from Discover University.

If you have TwistedMexi's Story Progression Viewer mod installed, it will display his custom notification window instead.

Alternate Phone Icons

This replaces the new phone icons with things that look like contemporary apps instead of moodlets. I tried to use similar color schemes as the originals to keep a sort of familiarity, but the icons themselves are all new. This is just a cosmetic change, there is nothing different about the menus or the interactions they contain.

Pets Everywhere

(Requires Cats & Dogs)

This mod adds Dog Walkers and/or Strays to other worlds besides Brindleton Bay without removing any existing walkbys or NPCs from those regions.  I've also included a bug fix that makes it so Dog Walkers are less likely to get stuck at the spawn points.

Install the main ts4script file, and then one or both package files to add Dog Walkers and/or Strays as you please.

Vampires Everywhere

(Requires Vampires)

Vampire invasions are coded to occur in all residential Worlds that existed at the time the Vampires game pack came out (Base Game Worlds, Windenburg, San Myshuno, and Forgotten Hollow) but either due to an oversight or intentional omission, they were never added to newer Worlds, starting with Brindleton Bay. If you mostly play in newer areas of the game, you would never see one.

This mod does several things. First and foremost, it adds vampire events to all Worlds. This includes a small chance of invasions, as well as normal vampire walkbys and the "fake vampire" walkbys at night. There is about 1% chance per night for invasions.

Second, I added modifiers to invasion odds based on certain circumstances. If there is a full moon, the chances of being invaded go up. If there is a werewolf living in the home, the chances are halved.

Third, I enabled invasions in Haunted Houses and Tiny Homes. Previously, these were disallowed even in Worlds where invasions could happen.

Fourth, I've streamlined the event to avoid wonkiness. Invading vampires will show up in front of your house instead of at the edge of the world, they are allowed to show up even if your game is running at Super Speed 3, and there is no longer a time limit for the event.

Thanks for all the effort! The Front Desk mod is fun, love seeing sims chatting with the receptionist. Though in generic lots the receptionist doesn't seem to show up.

where can i see a changelog? I like to keep track on whether I have downloaded latest versions or not

Changelogs for mini-mods can be accessed on my Patreon page or Discord server. Scarlet also does a great job of tracking mod updates on her Mod List, for a lot of modders not just mine.

ok ty!

Hello.  I hope all of your personal stuff that you had going on is better now.  Thank you so much for sharing your time and creativity with us.

I enjoy your mods so very much.  My favorite small mods are front desk (sometimes the staff show up in some crazy attire), random text and call, and the pets being all over the worlds lovely addition. Thank you for your time and sharing your talent.

Can't find Better Vampire Menus in your mods now.  Does that mod still work, or is it discontinued since it's not on your site?

Better Vampire Menus is part of Ask Category & Menu Cleanup now.  https://kuttoe.itch.io/ask-category

Thanks!

For Vampires Everywhere and Pets Everywhere does this work also for the highschool years and future world expansion updates or do they need updating as well?

(+1)

The way the mods are set up currently is that they attempt to apply themselves to every World you have installed, and I have to manually add exceptions to places to where it wouldn't make sense (e.g. Batuu or the summit of Mt. Komorebi).  Future Worlds will get these features automatically, and Copperdale from HSY already has them.

Do you know of any 'soft' conflicts with Vampires Everywhere? Conflict Detector shows no conflict for me but vampires are showing up dramatically more than I'd expect from your description. Almost every night. It's frequent enough that it hijacks gameplay — my games recently are just a race to research vampirism and string up garlic, regardless of whatever I'd intended the play through to be.

Is is because my sim is a Spellcaster? My current assumption is that another mod is also trying to fix this, causing more frequent vampire invasions than the description indicates. I can't find a likely culprit though, unless it's one of the many things Carl's Gameplay Overhaul is changing.

Conflict detectors don't work, so we can't  get any good info from that.

Please come to the Discord server so I can troubleshoot this issue with you and get more information about your game state. Repost a description of your issue in my support channel and I or one of my friends will help when we can.

Front Desk seems to be spawning multiple Sims for the Receptionist career. I had 5 receptionists inside the gym! This might be affected by other mods, but worth looking into.
